Many innovative screening and triage approaches remain confined to small research projects, while the women who need them most never benefit. Moving from pilot studies to national or regional programs requires robust implementation strategies, strong partnerships, and systems that can sustain quality at scale.

For ETiCCS, implementation and scale-up are the bridge between proof of concept and population-level impact: ensuring that effective tools and pathways become part of routine care.

  • Pilot studies and evidence generation

We design and implement pilot studies that test screening and triage pathways in real-world settings, generating evidence on feasibility, accuracy, cost, and impact.

  • National and regional scale-up

We work with ministries of health, hospitals, and research institutions to integrate proven models into national and regional cervical cancer prevention programs, including policy development, training, and procurement.

  • Community mobilization

We support community engagement and mobilization to increase screening uptake, and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track coverage, quality, and outcomes over time.

  • Cost-effectiveness analysis

We conduct economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses of screening and triage strategies to inform policy decisions, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable scale-up in low- and middle-income countries.
